Born Winnipeg, Manitoba. In Sacramento, California began apprenticing at P.J. English's tattoo studio learning skin art, scrimshaw, wood working, and framing. Completed BFA at the Alberta College of Art and Design for drawing, animation, video, printmaking, art history, jewelry, glass, digital media and sound engineering. Scholarship program completed at Yale University for painting. Residencies in Dawson City, Yukon and Puerto Escodido, Oaxaca. Several years in Montreal, Quebec Co-founding the En Masse project and compiling much of the work in the current book "Drawings". Currently based in Vancouver, British Colombia.
