In Winnipeg, Manitoba, on the 2nd of April 1976 mom gave birth to her first and only son Timothy Jean and a week later returned with pop to Placerville, California. Then the mountains of Washington in a tepee while at work on the first cabin, which served as home while work continued on a second house. Sunnyvale, Sacramento, Northport, Castlegar, Trail, Blueberry Creek, and Saskatoon all before first grade in Calgary just after the divorce. The next year Banff for a year and then back to Saskatoon again. A long hot summer in a trailerpark in Valmy, Nevada with pop, and continuing to visit him every summer and Christmas in Sacramento. St. Francis Catholic school in Sacramento for one year and a return to to Calgary. Hillhurst Elementary and Queen Elizabeth Jr. High before moving to Edmonton in high school at Harry Ainlay and heavy metal distortion bass for several years. During summers in highschool in Sacramento as an apprentice at P.J. English's tattoo studio in Del Paso Heights learning about skin art, scrimshaw and framing. After highschool dishpit slavery and involvement in a government prototype course designing web pages and CD Roms. Then the Alberta College of Art and Design, becoming drawn to the medium of hand drawn animation and painting. In the summers worked the resort towns of Waterton Lakes National Park, AB, Nordegg, AB, and Watson Lake, YK. Junior year qualified for a scholarship at Yale University for a summer semester and travel around the east coast from Cape Breton to Georgia. Upon graduating college a residency program in Dawson City, Yukon and then down to Oaxaca, Mexico for several months. Came back to Calgary in July 2002 moving to Montreal in 2005 to focus on the infinite extremities inherent in the possibilties of high contrast black and white automatic drawing.
